Cena’s mission is to help make our customers’ lives easier, healthier and more satisfying by taking the stress and hassle out of:

There's a lot of CHOICES out there for dinner ~ and we know it can all get confusing and expensive! So, we've made it our mission to MAKE IT SIMPLE AND AFFORDABLE!
- How does it work? Is "Cena" a restaurant?
NO ~ Cena is not a restaurant. We are a meal assembly kitchen with a gourmet wine and beer shop included.
- What is a "meal assembly kitchen" and why would it benefit me?
Our "meal assembly kitchen" is exactly how it sounds; we plan the recipes, we do the shopping, we do the chopping, slicing and dicing, we do the CLEAN UP. Basically, we do everything except COOK IT and EAT IT! We "assemble" the meal - you cook it and you eat it.
- Can I "self assemble" my meals?
No. This option is no longer available.
- If I'm not assembling meals and Cena has a new business model; then how does it all work??
In the past, we offered a HUGE menu with tons of meals. Unfortunately, this seemed to cause a lot of confusion.
Many of our customers (and potential customers) would go online and look at our menu. We were receiveing feedback that "everything looks wonderful" BUT "there are TOO MANY choices!". By offering such a large menu, people were finding it difficult to decide on a few meals. We would hear people say comments like, "I got overwhelmed by such a big menu and couldn't decide what I wanted" or "there were so many choices that I felt overwhelmed and had the best of intentions to get back on line later and make my choices, but I just don't have the time" and "If you guys just make it simple and tell me here's the weekly menu, then I would order more often"....
You spoke and we listened!!!!
- Effective immediately, we will offer a TWO WEEK menu. We will have several entrees and our famous gourmet salad.
- We will offer package pricing. You can buy one meal ($19, serves 3 hungry adults!) or you can buy a meal package with side dishes included.
- If you see something you REALLY like - you need to order it. Can't make it by to pick it up this week? NO PROBLEM! Call us 644-6366 - we'll freeze it for you and you can stop by next week! We're here to make your life EASIER!
- We will repeat entrees, but it will be based on popularity and requests. If you like it, PLEASE let us know!
- Whatever doesn't sell will be frozen. You're always welcome to see what's available in our freezer!
- Desserts and appetizers will be made to order. If you need a dessert or appetizer for the weekend, call us at least 48 hours in advance, and we'll have it ready to go!
What kind of meals are we talking about?? Are these the same kind of meals I can get at the grocery store or wholesale clubs?
Absolutely not! We offer a VARIETY of meals! Seafood, poultry, beef, pork, pasta....we have something for everyone! Our menu changes weekly ~ but how does Chicken Picatta, Beef tips and bleu cheese butter, Penne Rustica w/ Chicken or Coconut Prawns with Apricot dipping sauce sound to you? Certainly not "the same old stuff" and not a "meal in a bag"! If it calls for "fresh squeezed lemon" then we are squeezing the lemons for you! These are not meals full of additives and preservatives that have been dumped out of can or vacuum sealed in a bag!
- What do you mean by "fresh"?
All our entrees are MADE FRESH! We don't order in pre-made sauces or frozen entrees. We cut up ALL the veggies, squeeze the lemons fresh, chop the herbs and even cut the meat! Our chicken breast arrive individually sealed and minimally processed free of hormones, steroids, additonal additives and preservatives.
Its like we're your own "personal chef". We did all the work - but you get all the credit!
- I'm trying to watch my weight and my kids are picky eaters! Will this work for me?
Well if you are trying to "watch your weight" then you just met your dream come true! How many times do you fall off the wagon because you didn't "plan" dinner? Or you allowed yourself to snack because it was just taking too long to get dinner ready? Our meals are pre-planned for you! Take back your "free" time! Eat well! Try different meals every day of the week! And everything is "pre-portioned".
We offer lots of "kid friendly" options on our menu! Your kids will eat what you're eating - no more separate meals for them!- Do I have to order in advance?
One of the ways that we remain so affordable is by eliminating the need for "waste". So, yes, its highly recommended & encouraged that you order in advance. Its not neccesary and walk-ins are welcome - but if you know what you want, its always best to call us or order online a day in or two in advance. We have lots of customers that order MULTIPLE meals, so its not always possible to fill last minute orders. We do aim to please and exceed your expectations, therefore, we encourage you to call us in advance.
- How do I order on line?
Its VERY EASY! Just click on "place an order" go to our calendar, select the day, click on it - and it will populate our menu. You can order on line 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Notice, if you order on a Tuesday, it will be ready for pick up on Thursday. Online orders are set up to give us the time cushoin that is often needed to guarantee that we have your meals ready.
- This all sounds "great" - but I don't go to Shore Drive!
Not a problem! We'll come to you! Call for details. We will deliver multiple orders to one location. For example, you and your co-workers all want to order? We'll plan to deliver your meals at the end of your work day TO YOUR OFFICE. Just bring a cooler to work and at the end of the day, we'll show up w/ dinner! One person may only want one or two meals - but another person may want six or eight! Its very simple to get a group order together and everyone can benefit! We'll go all over the Southside and Peninsula for "group orders".
